Grown in the the Indonesian highlands round Lintong and Lake Toba Kuda Mas, this coffee is a prime example of a uniform, high-grade Sumatra.
Almost all Sumatran coffee is processed by hand directly on the farms where it is grown, using the "Giling Basah" method - where coffee is hand picked, pulped, fermented overnight, washed, lightly dried, and then hulled while the parchment is still wet. This unique processing method gives Sumatran coffee beans their characteristic flavour profile.
