The Tarrazu region is known for having the finest soils at the highest altitudes (1200-1900 miles above sea level) so most of the best Costa Rican coffees are grown in this region.  "SHB", refers to the classification 'Super Hard Bean' - the bean is very dense and hard as a result of the growing conditions.

The cup displays a rich, creamy caramel body, roasted hazelnut, and a hint of jasmine.  Delicate acidity leads to a long chocolate finish.
