The Tarrazu region is known for having the finest soils at the highest altitudes so most of the best Costa Rican coffees are grown in this region. "SHB" refers to, of all things, Super Hard Bean. The bean is very dense and hard as a result of the high growing conditions.
The cup displays rich creamy caramel body, roasted hazelnut, and a hint of jasmine. Delicate acidity leads to a long chocolate finish.
